Snow arrived a bit early in mid-Ohio. We were blessed with an inch or so over the weekend and it has continued off and on for the last two days.
The best part of winter time is the non-stop activity at my feeders, a way station for locals and long distant travelers alike. White-breasted Nuthatches, Dark-eyed Juncos, and Tufted Titmice keep company with the well-fed flock of American Goldfinches, but so far I have been missing my Black-capped Chickadees.
This stunning photo was taken by a talented friend, Jonathan White. Maybe he could sent a few of those bouncy little songsters to visit me.
