The Huron Lighthouse set against the winter Lake Erie sky has been backdrop for some pretty amazing birds in the past. Mew, Little, and Sabine's Gulls have all been seen at this very location. But if you chose to go there, remember that breakwall can be treacherous and is often covered with ice in the wintertime.
On this Skywatch Friday- let's just take a few peaceful moments to relax and enjoy nature. And if you are craving the sounds of the lake, go here for a short clip of winter Lake Erie shore sounds. I would like to set it up on continuous loop on my monitor and pretend I am there all day. T.G.I.F!
